  • The obverse shows a slightly modified version of the original Washington Quarter. The mint moved some of the wording previously found on the reverse to the obverse in order to make more room for the reverse design for each state. • The reverse shows a Mangrove Tree in the U.S. Virgin Islands.  Other details of the reverse include the inscriptions "SALT RIVER BAY," “U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS,” “2020” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
  • The 5 National Parks scheduled for release in 2020 are National Park of American Samoa in American Samoa, Weird Farm National Historical Site in Connecticut, Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Marsh-Billings Rockefeller National Historical Park in Vermont, and Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve in Kansas.
  • Sovereign coins minted at the U.S. Mint and backed by the United States government, each with a face value of $0.25.
