2014 Shenandoah Quarter Coin - D Mint - $25.00 U.S. Mint Sealed Bag - (UNC) Brilliant Uncirculated

COIN HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 100 Count - $25.00 Face Value in U.S. Mint sealed canvas bag.  Ships in U.S. Mint sealed box.
  • Released on 3/31/2014.
  • The obverse shows a slightly modified version of the original Washington Quarter. The mint moved some of the wording previously found on the reverse to the obverse in order to make more room for the reverse design for each state. You'll find "United States of America," "In God We Trust," "Liberty," and "Quarter Dollar" all spelled out on the obverse of the quarter as well as the coin's mint mark.
  • The reverse design of the Shenandoah quarter depicts a hiker overlooking Little Stony Man peak. With its beautiful views, Little Stony Man is one of the park's most popular peaks.
  • The 5 National Parks Released in 2014 were Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, Arches National Park in Utah, Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado, and Everglades National Park in Florida.
  • Sovereign coins minted at the San Francisco Branch of the U.S. Mint and backed by the United States government, each with a face value of $0.25. The America the Beautiful Quarter Program began in 2010, but Uncirculated Quarters were not minted at San Francisco until 2012.

Shenandoah National park is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and is only 75 miles from Washington D.C. Established in December 1935, the park expands over 105 miles. It offers many hiking trails, spectacular waterfall views, family picnic and camping areas, as well as Skyline Drive, a National Scenic Byway. Shenandoah Park is home to many species of animals including the white-tailed deer, black bear, red and gray fox and 200 species of local and migratory birds.

All coins come in protective plastic. Orders of 40 or more may ship in tubes.
