- The obverse of each round shows the iconic Route 66 roadway sign. To its left, the eight states (Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California) that the route goes through have their abbreviations displayed.
- The reverse again displays the Route 66 roadway sign, along with the iconic "Get Your Kicks" phrase. It is also stamped with the round's weight and fineness.

Released to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the historic roadway through America, these beautiful .999 Silver Rounds were produced by Sunshine Minting Inc. and feature a gorgeous proof-like finish!
Route 66 is known as the Main Street of America. It brought together two major cities, Chicago and Los Angeles, while passing through eight states and spurring massive economic growth all along the way. Today, after some of the route has had to be removed to make way for larger highways, about 80% of the route remains able to be traveled.
