NOTE HIGHLIGHTS:

• Fine or Better Condition.
  
• The obverse features the portrait of Lucy Pickens, the wife of the South Carolina governor, along with portraits of George W. Randolph and two soldiers.
  

Known as Confederate Currency, these genuine Confederate $100.00 bank notes were issued in 1864.

Dollar signs were never used on Confederate Currency. This note does feature a large "C" on it though, which quite possibly led to our $100 bills of today being referred to as "C Notes!"
