SET HIGHLIGHTS:

• Canadian release with a tiny mintage of 10,000 vs. the 100,000 released by the USA, making these sets quite a bit more desirable. 
• Set contains 2 total coins each with 1 oz of .999 or .9999 fine Silver.
• A numismatic collaboration between two world renowned mints - the Royal Canadian Mint and the United States Mint - featuring their flagship silver bullion coins, the Maple Leaf and the American Eagle. 
• American Eagle obverse features Adolph Weinman's famous Walking Liberty Design first used on the 1916-47 Half Dollar where the stars of the flag and stripes of her dress are enhanced along with a Reverse Proof finish on the coin
• Maple Leaf obverse features Susanna Blunt's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a radial background bordered by a perimeter of mini maple leaves and stars.
• American Eagle reverse features a heraldic eagle design. Above it are 13 stars, 1 to represent each of the original 13 colonies. Nothing on the reverse design is enhanced.
• Maple Leaf reverse features Canada's iconic Sugar Maple Leaf is at the center of the design on a background of radial lines surrounded by four rows of stars and maple leaves.
• The Silver Eagle bears the W mint mark but the Maple Leaf bears no mint mark.
  
• Sovereign coins backed by the United States Government  and the Canadian Government each with a face value of $1.00 (USD) and $5.00 (CAD).

The partnership itself is not the only first, the American Silver Eagle features a never before seen enhanced reverse proof finish and the Canadian Silver Maple Leaf features a new Modified Proof finish! The Silver Eagle shows enhancement of the stripes on Lady Liberty's dress and the stars on the flag wrapped around Lady Liberty's shoulders. The Silver Maple Leaf takes a new approach to the design as the Sugar Maple Leaf is encircled by 2 rows of mini maple leaves and 2 rows of 5 point stars (a nod to both mints). 

The coins are encapsulated and presented in a two coin leather presentation case featuring emblems of both countries flags on the inner cover with a bilingual (English and French) Certificate of Authenticity. The total mintage limit of the set is 110,000 with 100,00 available for sale in the U.S. from the United States Mint and 10,000 available for sale in Canada from the Royal Canadian Mint.
