COIN HIGHLIGHTS:

• An interesting coin that is "certified" by SEGS (Sovereign Entities Grading Service) as a lofty MS-68.  SEGS is considered a lower-tier grading service and is known for over grading coins. Although this coin does exhibit some gem characteristics, a few contact marks and some light spotting would certainly prevent this coin from grading MS-68 by NGC and PCGS.
• For context, PCGS has MS-68 in its price guide at $37,500, illustrating the fact that the 1943-D is exceptionally rare in that condition.  Please note that this coin, is NOT that. 
• The obverse design was used for the model of the modern day American Silver Eagle coin!
