I'm not a coin collector, but I found these tubes to be extremely useful. I publish a small-town weekly newspaper and every week I get a bunch of quarters out of my vending racks. I had been storing them in a glass jar until I took them to the bank, but I had a jar break on me once and you can never really tell how many quarters you have in a jar. These tubes are sturdy and hold $10 of quarters in each one. Also, I can hand a couple of empty ones to the guy who refills the racks each week so he's handing me a couple of tidy tubes instead of a big mass of loose coins. These coin tubes are great for any sort of vending machine, not just newspaper racks.
