COIN HIGHLIGHTS:

• The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati along with the inscriptions "CHARLES III," "50 DOLLARS," and the date (2025).
• The reverse design shows the iconic Maple Leaf image along with the inscriptions "CANADA" as well as ones for the coin's weight and purity. Also incorporated into the design is a small Maple Leaf privy mark with a micro-engraved '25' in the center, to be used as an enhanced security feature. 
• Sovereign coin backed by the Canadian government with a face value of $50.00 (CAD). Minted in .9999 fine Gold!

The Gold Maple Leaf is our neighbor to the north's answer to the Gold Eagle! These 2025 Maple Leafs feature a radial line background that was precisely machined by the Royal Canadian Mint onto their master die in order to create a unique light diffracting pattern. This is used to provide yet another level of security.
