1862 $100.00 Confederate States of America Train Note - Fine or Better Condition

NOTE HIGHLIGHTS:

• The obverse features a stream train with passenger cars, as well as a vignette of a milk maid.
  

Known as Confederate Currency, these genuine Confederate $100.00 bank notes were issued in 1862.

Dollar signs were never used on Confederate Currency. This note does feature a large "C" on it though, which quite possibly led to our $100 bills of today being referred to as "C Notes!"
