SET HIGHLIGHTS:

35 coins from 1948-1963. Includes an example of every date and mint mark Franklin Half Dollar ever struck!
Grades will vary from About Uncirculated to Brilliant Uncirculated condition, with the majority being full BU.
Each coin is composed of 90% Silver.
The set comes housed in a Dansco coin album.

The Franklin Half Dollar was quite popular and circulated widely, but its run was cut short after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the subsequent introduction of the Kennedy Half Dollar honoring the slain president.

As the price of silver rose in the 1960's and skyrocketed in the late 1970's, millions of these coins were melted for their silver value.

Set arrived today only one coin,1961 looks like machine bent God other than that good.

They shipped this product to me incomplete. It was missing the 1953 Ben Franklin. I called them up they said you should have in a couple of days. It has been two weeks and I still haven't received it. If you do not have the coins do not advertize it. I do not want an incomplete product sent to me.

Beautiful coins. They aren't kidding when they say it would be hard to tell the difference between the uncirculated set. Most in my set would be BU Uncirculated in my opinion. It did take 3 weeks to get coins though. But well worth the wait.
