The Silver Maple Leaf is Canada's Silver Eagle! It is one of the best-selling World Silver Bullion coins on the market. These 2023 Maple Leafs feature a radial line background that was precisely machined by the Royal Canadian Mint onto their master die in order to create a unique light diffracting pattern. The micro-laser privy mark and machined radial lines are both security features introduced to the Maple Leaf Series in 2014.

The 2023 release pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth's passing in 2022 with a date marking of 1952-2022 on the left of the Queen's portrait on the obverse of the coin.  The dates represent the Queen's time at the throne before her passing in 2022.
