I thought there was going to be a change to the design on silver eagles for 2021?

Yes there will be a change on the reverse of the Silver Eagle which the U.S. Mint has tentatively scheduled for Q3 or Q4 of 2021. To cover for the delay in release the Mint will be releasing a Type 1 reverse which is the classic design and then the Type 2 reverse will be seen later on in the year.
