2019 American $1 Coin + Currency Set with Enhanced Uncirculated Finish Native American/Sacagwea Dollar

  • Contains two dollars: a 2019 Native American/Sacagawea Dollar Coin and a $1.00 2017 Series Note.
  • **The 2017 $1.00 notes have moved out of their holder in set.
  • Housed in an educational tri-fold display including a Certificate of Authenticity.
  • The reverse of the Dollar Coin pays homage to Native American Participation in the American Space Program. A likeness of Mary Golda Ross, sitting and writing calculations is featured along with an example calculation, a rocket, presumably Agena, and an astronaut. Also part of the design are inscriptions $1 and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
  • Ross helped develop spacecrafts, such as the Agena, for interplanetary travel and is the perfect subject for this coin released during the 50th anniversary of the Apollo launch. The astronaut is thought to honor John Herrington, a Native American that participated in walks on the International Space Station.
  • The obverse of the Dollar Coin bears the design of Sacagawea that was first produced in 2000 and includes inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The issue year of 2019 and P Mint Mark are featured on the edge of the coin.
  • Each $1 2017 Series Note will have a serial number starting with 1959 - the year that Agena was launched.
  • Guaranteed by the U.S. Mint.
  • Low mintage of only 50,000 sets!

The Native American Dollar Coin has been produced with an Enhanced Uncirculated finish for the Coin and Currency Sets in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2019, but this is the first year that it is a P Mint Mark and is being produced at the Philadelphia branch. This year also marks one of the lowest mintages for the American Coin and Currency Set at 50,000, only previously matched in 2014. This set makes a great gift - not only does it honor the 50th Anniversary of Apollo, but it honors historical accomplishments of Native Americans in the United States!
