2018 marked the 50th Anniversary of producing Silver Proof Coins at the San Francisco Mint Branch. To celebrate, the U.S. Mint offered this 10 Coin Reverse Proof Set. Reverse Proof Silver coins are popular among collectors and have frosted fields and mirrored devices. They were first seen in the 2006 20th Anniversary Silver Eagle Set and have typically only been released for special occasions.
America The Beautiful National Park Quarters included in this Silver Reverse Proof Set are: Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in Wisconsin, Voyageurs National Park in Minnesota, Cumberland Island Seashore in Georgia, and Block Island National Wildlife Refuge in Rhode Island. Each one is 90% Silver.
