  • Unusual find as these examples were DOUBLE postmarked 4/13/76.
  • The obverse features a portrait of Thomas Jefferson and were postmarked at various Post Offices to commemorate the note's first day of issue, April 13th, 1976, which would have been Jefferson's 233rd birthday!
  • The reverse shows the famous portrait of the Founding Fathers at the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776.

  • I purchased one of the july 4th notes earlier and was very pleased. These are very nice notes.
  • I bought this out of a whole set for my Wife and I's one year anniversey. I bought it with both post marks. Mine came from NJ for the 4th and Ohio for first day of Issue. As for shipping, awesome. Mint Products ships in its own plastic enevlope. Two Thumbs up!
